Having a 6 pack has been ingrained in us from the time that we were swinging on jungle gyms as kids, so I’m going to share an efficient workout with you that will improve your cardio, add variety and intensity to your workout, and put you on the path to your own 6 pack, all in minimal time.The workout involves 8 exercises that will be done in a circuit style, meaning 1 exercise will be followed after the other until all 8 exercises are complete. I call it my SHRED fit system, the plan is for you to complete for 2-3 sets total. For each exercise you will work for 45 seconds, followed by a 15-second break (transition) between exercises. Once you have completed a full set (8 exercises), take 2 minutes to recover, and then it’s on to the next set. This workout will take you 35 minutes to complete, and you will reap the rewards of a full body burn, leading you to your desired 6 pack. Using this exercise as an example, you should aim to exercise for at least 30 minutes, 5 days per week, I like to start my day with a workout to keep me revved up for the day.

  • Ab crunch with a Dumbbell
  • Burpee
  • Core Down, Down, Up, Up
  • 1 Arm Dumbbell Snatch
  • Ab Poppers
  • Jump Squat
  • Cross body Mountain Climber
  • Side Plank

Too often, people tend to focus on isolated exercises like sit-ups and crunches to obtain a six pack, it doesn’t work that way. To give you the best chance of getting that Shredded mid-section that your partner will “love to handle”, you must focus on an efficient full body training approach and proper nutrition. You can only work at high intensities, if your body is properly fuelled with the right foods. If you put regular gas in a Porsche, chances are it will not run at the optimum levels that it was designed for. Your body is no different, but, MUCH more important! So that will mean following a balanced diet including proteins, fats and carbohydrates (not the empty calorie, processed or refined kind). Add as many fruits and vegetable to your daily meal plan, and make sure you start off with a great breakfast.

Luckily for you, we’ve made it easy for you wiht the help of R.D. Maria Thomas, and her meal plans. Ideally you should be eating every 2-3 hours for optimal fitness, all is takes is a little bit of planning.
