10 Things that will lead you to a healthier lifestyle

  1. Reduce your consumption of enriched, processed, and sugary foods. This includes white flour based foods, white rice & white pasta

  2. Get interested in nutrition. It’s about what you put in your mouth, and when you put it in your mouth. Find a healthy balance in your diet. Eat 4-6 meals per day (2-3 of these will be a snack), and pay attention to your portion sizes: ie. 1 serving (4-5 Oz)of chicken breast will be about the size of the palm of your hand

  3. Increase your consumption of fruits and vegetables (5-8 servings per day), fiber rich foods, and water

  4. Set some goals, write them down, and tell somebody about it

  5. Each day, move around a little bit more then the day before

  6. Get started. That is the main thing, and it’s what stops most people from achieving their goals.

  7. Empower yourself with knowledge. If you don’t really know your way around the gym, get yourself a trainer. If you are knowledgeable in the gym, but you’ve been doing the same thing over and over again, switch your program up. Go learn some new moves. Talk to others. This is all an investment in yourself

  8. Surround yourself with positive people. There are negative people all around, but you can’t worry about them or let them drag you down.

  9. Realize that the sky is the limit! You’re going to be more fit and healthier. You’ve got one life to live in this world, so you might as well live it to the fullest. The only limits you have are the ones you set for yourself

  10. Don’t talk about it, BE ABOUT IT! It’s time to put your words into action
